Christmas at Tunsgate Quarter

The festive season officially begins at Tunsgate Quarter on Saturday 14th November and we want you to be there for every magical moment.

Join us from 10am to 6pm for a day of Christmas celebrations as we mark the start of the season in proper style with live music ringing through the centre and a bauble decorating workshop for both children and adults and much more!

Christmas comes to Guildford in the most spectacular fashion on Sunday 15th November from 11am-4pm, as the town centre transforms into a winter wonderland for a day of free, festive family fun with something magical in store for everyone.

And right at the heart of it all, Tunsgate Quarter plays its part beautifully. Back by popular demand, step inside the Giant Snow Globe and capture your very own free Christmas card photo. One of Guildford’s most loved festive moments and the perfect way to mark the start of the season with the whole family.

With free arts and crafts activities and face painting available throughout the day, there is no shortage of ways to keep the little ones entertained from the first snowflake to the very last carol.

The Etsy Guildford Christmas Market returns to Tunsgate Quarter for two very special weekends this December and it is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a truly unique and considered gift this Christmas.

Whether you are searching for something handcrafted and personal or simply love the thrill of discovering something you have never seen before, the Etsy Guildford Christmas Market offers a shopping experience that sits beautifully alongside the premium retail and dining destination that Tunsgate Quarter has become.

• Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 Dec from 10 – 5pm

Join us on the 22nd for a Christmas Decorations Workshop where little ones can get creative and take home something beautiful and handmade to add the finishing touches to Christmas this year.

On the 23rd, the Elf Hats Workshop takes over, the perfect pre-Christmas Eve activity to send the little ones home ready and buzzing for the big day.

And running across both days, the Bad Santas are in town.

All activities are free to attend between 10am and 4pm across both days. No booking required, simply come along and let the Christmas spirit take over.
